Art for the 5 senses ~ Sight

Sight ~ visual art, paintings, photography, sculpture, colour or black & white.

Sound ~ music, wind chimes.

Smell ~ soaps, candles, pot pourri, incense.

Taste ~ sauces, dips, salsas, chocolate, and all kinds of food.

Touch ~ fiber art, glass, jewelry, pottery, baskets, leather, wood and metalwork.

Just a small list of items to describe each of the 5 senses. Isn't art amazing? It covers everything!

Let's start with sight! This painting entitled "Inside A Tulip" is by artist Karen Sloan.
Certainly worthy of looking at! Makes me wish for Spring, since there is at least 3 feet of snow here now.

Taste - One of the 5 senses

Exploring the 5 senses is what this blog is all about.
As an artist and a craftsperson, I've decided to come out of my solitary state once in a while to find what other creative types are doing, and show it off to the world.
I'll be looking for hand made items by underexposed artists on this planet, that are clever, or prehaps indulge a certain sense of whimsy, make me laugh, or, make me wonder, "why didn't I think of that?"
Please drop by regularly for more...
Thanks for visiting!
